Your membership, our increasing influence
In joining the UK Shareholders’ Association you are adding to our strength in promoting the interests of all individual investors. We engage with the government and key regulators who shape investor rights and protections, the Financial Reporting Council, the Financial Conduct Authority and many other bodies to secure better recognition and treatment for those who put their own money into equity investment.
Our main focus at the moment is restoring shareholder-on-register rights to underlying beneficial owners, maintaining these rights for certificated shareholders and bettering the provision of transparent, relevant information by corporates to their shareholders. Every additional member adds weight to our case.
