In response to an ‘Inquiry into strengthening Financial Education’ UKSA presented new ideas to address the UK population’s weakness in financial literacy.
The inquiry was limited to teaching in schools, but UKSA has responded that this subject above all needs a holistic approach. We have presented a framework for the future in which teaching in schools could be embedded. The submission is extensively supported by references as evidence.
In line with the usual practice of parliamentary committees the response will not be publicly available until all committee members have read it.
