Eric Chalker and Roy Colbran, UKSA director and head of UKSA’s government policy unit respectively, recently visited the offices of the Financial Reporting Council (chaired by Baroness Hogg), to follow up UKSA's recent submission in response to the FRC’s consultation paper on 'Enhancing Corporate Reporting and Audit'.
The meeting took place with Stephen Haddrill (FRC Chief Executive), Peter Montagnon and Chris Hodge. UKSA’s purpose in seeking the meeting was not so much to reinforce its submission (but we were delighted to learn that the FRC's proposal to abandon the requirement for printed annual reports was itself to be abandoned) but to make submissions on other matters.
